Silk Contract Logistics Open a new site at Port of Brisbane

Silk Contract Logistics are excited to have opened a new 5.5 hectare facility on the Port of Brisbane. With its direct proximity to the terminals, the facility will provide enormous efficiencies to our operations and enable us to remain competitive and relevant to our customer base.

The beauty of being able to develop a greenfield site is that simple things such as traffic flows, location of fuel cells, truck washes and parking are all optimised to ensure the most efficient flow of traffic and product for both the warehouse and container operations.

A site of this size, 20,000 m2 Hardstand and 15,000 m2 warehouse has also allowed SILK to consolidate four sites into one.
