Our systems seamlessly synch our clients with our operations, supporting all transactions, from inbound goods to inventory storage, order fulfilment to outbound delivery, while incorporating all transport requirements including proof of delivery.

Our online service provides ‘real time’ visibility and reporting on all transactions. A secure web-based login allows customers to access their stock holdings, track orders and receipts.
This facility also provides live access to a wide range of information, including:
- Stock holdings by product, including the lot and batch number
- Receipt enquiry – view inbound products in real time
- Order enquiry – view the order status, whether being picked or despatched and product line per order
- Proof of delivery – view and print signed PODs
- Running and scheduling a host of standard reports - can be emailed as a PDF or Excel file
Staying alert
Our Event Management Systems (EMS) allows us to set automated system alerts for the proactive management of all key operational activities. The EMS will automatically email/ SMS staff or clients providing them with whatever notifications they have requested.
Based on continuous improvement principles, our Incident Management System ensures that every incident is properly recorded, investigated, actioned and resolved. This ensures the transparency and effectiveness of our transactional processes.
We are also able to provide our clients with a number of painless and practical options when it comes to invoicing.

Silk Logistics has successfully project planned and implemented many major contracts. We can either completely outsource the project to a stand-alone Silk facility or manage it on the customer’s premises.
Whatever the scenario, we will commit a dedicated team of experienced professionals across operations, analytics, IT and HR to work closely with the customer on the scope of the task - defining roles, expectations and goals in minute detail.
We then monitor the project closely for the duration. We anticipate and respond to both risks and opportunities as they happen, which is key to keeping a project on track and getting it across the line.
